If you are currently gardening on privately owned land, which is tax delinquent, this program may offer you the chance to take ownership of the property. If the property qualifies for the donor/taker program, the city will take ownership of the land and waive any taxes owed on the property.
The property will then be sold at market value or donated to the taker (you).
